What sort of Pallets do you supply?

What Pallet sizes do you offer?
We offer all standard sizes, along with custom Pallets design to meet an individual customer’s specifications where we can modify the size, height or weight bearing capacity to suit your needs. We can even produce a number of trial Pallets to ensure it fits seamlessly into your operations and protects your product during transportation.
What size is a standard EURO Pallet?
A EURO Pallet measures 1200mm x 800mm x144mm. They are a 4-sided Pallet allowing accessibility from all sides, with a fixed number of timber boards (11 in total), wood chip or solid wood blocks (9 in total) and are nailed with 78 nails in a pre-defined pattern. Our EURO Pallet fabrication process is regularly audited by external inspectors to ensure that we are consistently compliant to the strictest quality assurance standards.
What is the difference between a EURO and an EPAL Pallet?
EURO, EPAL, EUR1 or EUR Pallet are all the same Pallets.
What is the difference between a EURO Pallet and a Standard Pallet?
A EURO Pallet measures 1200 x 800mm whereas a Standard Pallet measures 1200x1000mm.
Do your Pallets comply with ISPM15?
Yes, our Pallets comply with ISPM15 and are independently audited and calibrated to meet these requirements.
Do you offer a kiln drying service?
We can kiln dry and Heat Treat Pallets in one of 10 onsite kilns.
Can you stamp Pallets?
Yes, we can brand your Pallets with your company logo, however we can only stamp Heat Treated Pallets with the ISPM15 logo.
Do you sell Reconditioned Pallets?
Yes, we are Ireland’s leading supplier of Reconditioned Pallets.
Do you buy Reconditioned Pallets?
We have a quality grading system for Reconditioned Pallets and we are happy to purchase Reconditioned Pallets that are suitable for re-sale or repair.
How much weight does a Pallet hold?
It varies! We can design a Pallet to suit your needs, once we know your requirements. We can also provide you with some trial Pallets.
What is the difference between a Remanufactured Pallet and a Reconditioned Pallet?
A remanufactured Pallet is comprised of stringers and boards that have been recovered from disassembled Pallets whereas a Reconditioned Pallet is a repaired Pallet.
What type of Custom Crates do you supply?
Our Custom Crates can be designed to whatever shape, size, weight requirements, specifications that our customers require.
Packaging
What sort of Packaging do you supply?
We supply Corrugated Packaging , Shelf Ready Packaging, Solidboard Packaging and Cartonboard Packaging, along with Dividers and Pallet Sheets (pads)..
Can you Design custom boxes?
Yes, we can custom Design Packaging using our in-house designer or your own designer's artwork. That is not all, we supply the widest array of printed Packaging boxes, cases, pouches, trays etc. to meet our customers’ needs.
My customer has asked for a specific box – Can you help?
Yes, typically we can supply any kind of Corrugated Packaging, Shelf Ready Packaging, Solidboard Packaging and Cartonboard Packaging solutions to our customers. We have over 33 years experience and can provide expert advice to ensure your valuable product arrives safely.
Can you customise my box with my contact details and design artwork if needed?
Yes, our in-house Graphic Designer can design the artwork for your Packaging and customise the Design with your details depending on its use.
Do you also provide Food Grade Packaging?
Yes, we do and have many customers in the Food and Beverage sector. We are also certified to a BRCGS standard for the Storage and Distribution of Food Grade and Non Food Grade Packaging.
I’m not sure what I need – Can you advise?
We have been in the industry with over 33 years and have seen most Packaging solutions and we are happy to share this experience with our customers.
Can I save money by getting my Packaging through MCP Group?
Our aim is to provide customers with the most cost-effective Packaging solutions and work with our customers to find the right box at the right price.
Can you provide FSC Certified and/or recyclable Packaging?
We can supply FSC certified Packaging and 100% recyclable Packaging solutions, where possible or required.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It varies, depending on the Packaging type, however we will always outline the minimum quantity on our quotes along with any volume discounts.
What is a “tooling fee”?
Tooling for custom Packaging is the physical blueprint that must be created to fit your specific Packaging requirement and is unique to each and every job.
Can you ensure I will receive my Packaging by the agreed date?
We believe that every customer should receive their Packaging on time, every time. We have excellent Sales and Purchasing Department coupled with an extensive network of suppliers and hauliers to deliver your product across Ireland.
Can you guarantee the quality of my Packaging?
We use an approved and certified supplier network who apply rigorous quality checks along every stage of the manufacturing process to ensure your product meets your needs.
Warehousing
What industries do you specialise in?
Currently we specialise in the Warehousing of Food & Beverage, FMCG and Packaging sectors, however we are always open to discussion from sectors who feel they might be a good fit.
Will my goods be safe in your Warehouse?
All of our Warehouses are effectively managed through our Warehouse Management System and surrounded by our onsite security measures. In addition, we are also a licensed Bonded Warehouse.
How can I monitor stock levels in your Warehouse?
Our live Warehouse Management System enables customers to track stock movement/stock levels etc.
Do you provide Fulfillment services?
Yes we can provide Fulfillment services for our customers such as pick and pack including Distribution. Our Fulfilment services are backed by our integrated Warehouse Management System which allows visibility of stock levels and movement through to final destination.
What is Bonded Warehousing, and do you provide it?
A Bonded Warehouse is a secured area where we can store your goods without the payment of duty. The purpose of having a Bonded Warehouse is for security on goods before the payment of duty and customs taxes.
Where is your Bonded Warehouse facility located?
Our Bonded Warehouse is located at MCP Clondrohid.
Do you provide reports on items stored in your Bonded Warehouse?
Yes, we complete and keep comprehensive reports of every product delivery, stored and dispatched from our Bonded Warehouse.
